Referral Program FAQ
Who is eligible to refer?
Anyone can refer—current clients, vendors, partners, friends, or family. The only restrictions: you cannot refer your own company, and NLS employees are not eligible.
What counts as a "qualified" referral?
A qualified referral is a business that is not already in our sales pipeline or an existing customer. The referral must result in a signed agreement for services or products.
When do I get paid?
Rewards are paid within 30 days of the referral's first invoice payment. For recurring bonuses, payments are made monthly as long as the client remains active (up to 12 months).
How do I receive my reward?
One-time rewards are delivered as digital gift cards (Visa, Amazon, or your choice from available options). Recurring bonuses can be paid via check or ACH.
Is there a limit to how many referrals I can make?
No limit. Refer as many businesses as you'd like. Each qualified referral that signs earns you a reward.
Will you tell the business I referred them?
Only if you want us to. When submitting your referral, you can choose whether we mention your name or keep it anonymous.
What if the referral doesn't sign right away?
Referrals are tracked for 12 months. If they sign within that window, you still earn the reward—even if it takes them a few months to decide.
Are referral rewards taxable?
Yes. Referral rewards may be considered taxable income. We may require a W-9 for rewards over $600 in a calendar year. Consult your tax advisor.
